Appointment of Housekeeping Assistant

About us:

We are an independent living complex which comprises of Fifty, one- and two-bedroom apartments for those over the age of 55, who can live independently with a little support from staff who are on site 24 hours a day, should they need us.

We have a very active Social Calendar, with something on almost daily. Weekly events include Bingo, Keep Fit and Film Night. Others include Seasonal evening events, and music nights to name but a few.

We are unique in that we are run by Owners, for our Owners. We are a not-for-profit company.


What we are looking for:

  • We are looking for an individual to work on a part time basis of 15-20 hours per week.
  • At present we are offering an hourly rate of £11.49 p/hr which will increase from the 1 st April 2025.
  • Due to the majority of our owners being at home all day, leading to them being very much dependent on our facilities to accommodate their social life and independence our Housekeeping Assistants play a big role caring for the private dwellings and communal areas of the Court.
  • The highest standards of cleanliness are of utmost importance due to being an obvious requirement for health and safety.
  • You will be required to wear the uniform provided, with black trousers and suitable footwear.
  • We guarantee our Owners 1.5hrs per week to help with keeping their property clean.
  • Care of Communal Area’s and assistance with lunchtime service are also included in the role.


We are not CQC Registered and therefore do not offer personal care to our Owners.
